Terms of Service

When these terms apply. These terms apply to accounts created after publication of this update. For accounts already in existence when this update is published, they take effect on September 26, 2026, following our notice through the service. Until then, the previous terms remain available and applicable. This update does not start a subscription or change an existing subscription price.
1. Who operates CourtSensei
CourtSensei is operated by Content Petit LLC, Coastal Highway 16192, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States. Contact us at contact@courtsensei.com. In these terms, “we” means Content Petit LLC and “you” means the person using the service.
2. The service and your account
CourtSensei is a web and native mobile workspace for basketball coaching: plays, drills, practice plans, whiteboards, user-provided video, clips, playlists and scouting reports. You must be at least 16 to hold an account, provide accurate details and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are for one person unless we expressly agree otherwise. Tell us promptly if your account is used without your permission.
3. Subscriptions, trials and payment
Some features require paid access. Plans, prices, billing periods, limits and eligible offers are shown before you subscribe. Monthly and yearly CourtSensei Pro plans provide the same Pro access. A subscription renews automatically until canceled.
Apple purchases. Payment is charged to your Apple Account. Eligible users may receive the introductory free trial shown on the Apple purchase sheet. Unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to the paid subscription at the displayed price. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next renewal. Manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings; refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies and applicable law. Use Restore Purchases while signed in to the CourtSensei account used for the purchase.
Web purchases. Stripe processes web subscriptions. Manage billing or cancellation through CourtSensei web settings. Cancellation normally stops the next renewal; access continues through the paid period, subject to any refund or earlier termination. Contact us for web billing questions. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Separate trials. A web trial without a payment method does not authorize a charge and is separate from an Apple introductory offer. Apple determines eligibility for its offers. Existing paid web access is recognized when you sign in to the same CourtSensei account; avoid purchasing a second subscription for access you already have.
4. Your coaching content
You retain your rights to the content you create or upload. You give us permission to host, process, transmit and display it as needed to provide the features you use, including thumbnails, video clips and PDF exports. You must have the rights and permissions needed for uploaded footage, team logos, player photographs and personal information. For youth-team material, obtain any required guardian or organizational permissions. Do not upload sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for coaching.
5. Sharing and external video
When you enable a share link, anyone who receives it may view the selected content. You can disable the link; this does not recall files or copies already received. Check player information and permissions before sharing or printing.
External video is subject to its provider’s terms, playback restrictions and availability. Adding a YouTube or Vimeo link does not transfer rights to the video or grant permission to download, copy or redistribute it. You are responsible for using import and export features only with content you are entitled to use.
6. Acceptable use
Do not upload illegal, infringing, abusive or harmful material; harass people; distribute malware or spam; bypass access controls, quotas or payment; or disrupt the service. Report misuse or rights concerns to contact@courtsensei.com. We may restrict content or accounts where reasonably necessary to address violations, security risks or legal obligations.
7. Account deletion and ending access
You can request account deletion from Settings in the app or on the web. Export anything you want to keep first. Deletion removes your account and associated active content; see the privacy policy for retention exceptions. If deletion encounters a service error, retry or contact support.
Deleting the app or your CourtSensei account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Cancel it in Apple subscription settings. The account deletion process attempts to cancel subscriptions billed directly through our Stripe account. If that step fails, deletion stops for retry; you can also manage web billing before deleting.
8. Software and availability
We and our licensors own the service software, design and branding. The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These service terms cover accounts, content and billing and do not replace that license.
We work to keep CourtSensei available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep independent copies of material you need for a game. Where legally permitted, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Liability and disputes
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or €100. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law, including applicable mandatory consumer protections.
Please contact us first to try to resolve a dispute. These terms do not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or access to competent courts under the law that applies to them.
10. Changes and contact
We will announce material changes by email or through the service at least 14 days before they take effect. Any new price or purchase requires the disclosures and permissions applicable to that billing platform. Questions: contact@courtsensei.com.
